The College Football Playoff National Championship Game kicks off on Monday, Jan. 8 at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. The worldwide leader in sports will also play host to expansive MegaCast coverage that brings you different angles and perspectives of the sport’s biggest game.

But will any of those options allow you to watch in 4K, the screen resolution that offers 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, which is the highest picture quality readily available to the average user? Fortunately for those with a 4K-enabled TV, the answer is yes!

YouTube TV is the final live TV service that offers 4K streaming. Users will have to purchase the 4K Plus add-on ($9.99 per month) on top of their $72.99 base price to stream select events like the CFP title game and NFL playoff matchups on Fox in 4K.

How to Stream the 2024 College Football Playoff Championship in 4K

If you subscribe to any pay-TV service (traditional or live TV streaming) that gives you TV Everywhere sign-in credentials for the ESPN app, you can always stream the game in 4K there. Following on-screen prompts once you download the app will allow you to sign in and watch the 4K broadcast, which you can stream without an add-on package or any subscription upgrades.
