Can You Watch The 2024 Masters Golf Tournament on Peacock?

The 2024 Masters Golf Tournament gets underway from Augusta National this week, with the biggest names in golf looking to get fitted for a Green Jacket. Tiger Woods will make his second start of the 2024 season after pulling out of the Genesis Invitational after just one round due to illness earlier this year, while Rory McIlroy looks for his first Masters win to claim the career grand slam. The first round of the 2024 Masters gets underway on Thursday, April 11, and runs until Sunday, April 14, with coverage across ESPN and CBS. The two networks’ sibling channels and streamers will also be providing coverage throughout the weekend.

Unfortunately, you cannot watch the 2024 Masters on Peacock as it doesn’t carry any of the needed channels. Peacock does simulcast select sporting events that appear on NBC, but this isn’t one of them so you’ll have to look elsewhere to watch the tournament.

To watch the 2024 Masters golf tournament, you’ll need a live TV streaming service that carries CBS and ESPN. You’ll find The Streamable’s advice on which one to choose below!

Best Ways to Stream The 2024 Masters

Top Choice: DIRECTV STREAM

  • Five-day free trial for all new users
  • Limited-time offer of $25 off per month for the first two months
  • Huge selection of top cable channels

Best Alternative: Hulu + Live TV

  • Carries CBS and ESPN
  • Free Access to Disney Bundle included (with ESPN+)

How to Stream The 2024 Masters

The 2024 Masters golf tournament is airing on ESPN and CBS, which means DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV all carry the needed channel, as well as Paramount+. Sling TV isn’t a good option as it doesn’t carry CBS.

Best Choice for Watching the 2024 Masters: DIRECTV STREAM

DIRECTV STREAM is our top recommended service for watching the 2024 Masters because it comes with a great offer for new subscribers: $25 off per month for their first two months of service, and it also carries a five-day free trial.

This service carries ABC, CBS, ESPN, Fox, and NBC in all plans in most markets, and you can upgrade to fuller channel packages if you want even more. DIRECTV STREAM has all 35 of The Streamable’s top cable channels available, and it’s a supreme choice for watching professional sports all year long.

Best Alternative With Awesome Value: Hulu + Live TV

Hulu + Live TV doesn’t have a free trial on offer, but its plans start at $76.99 per month, so you can save a little bit of money by going with this service. Not only does it carry CBS and ESPN, but it also includes Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu in the price, which is a $14.99 monthly value. That makes Hulu + Live TV too good of a bargain to ignore for those who like to optimize their budgets.

Great Choice for Sports Fans: Fubo

Fubo offers new customers a free trial, though the length of that trial depends on what time of month you sign up for the service. Fubo carries both ESPN and CBS in most areas and is great for sports fans who want to stream the NBA, NHL, or MLB as it carries regional sports networks (RSNs) for 98% of American viewers. Its plans start at $79.99 per month, but that doesn’t factor in the RSN fee that most viewers will have to pay.

Last Option: YouTube TV

YouTube TV is available for as little as $72.99 per month, and it carries CBS and ESPN so you can watch the 2024 Masters. However, it does not have a wide range of RSNs, nor does it offer free streaming services bundled into the subscription price. That’s why it falls to this spot on The Streamable’s list.

Can You Watch The 2024 Masters on Sling TV?

You can watch the first two rounds of the Masters on ESPN with Sling TV, but the service doesn’t carry CBS in any of its territories, so you can’t watch the third or final round. You’d have to add a subscription to Paramount+ to watch the rounds on Saturday and Sunday.
