Can You Watch The 2024 Masters Golf Tournament on Sling TV?

The best golfers in the world will descend on Augusta National this week for the 2024 Masters tournament. John Rahm completed the comeback at last year’s tournament from four strokes behind to claim his first green jacket. He’ll be looking to get fitted for another, along with big names like Tiger Woods, Scottie Scheffler, Bubba Watson, Phil Mickelson, Tony Finau, and Rory McIlroy. The tournament gets started on Thursday, April 11, and runs through Sunday, April 14, with ESPN covering the first two rounds, and CBS covering the weekend. The two networks’ sibling channels and streamers will also be providing coverage throughout the weekend.

Now, Sling TV is generally one of The Streamable’s top recommendations because it allows customers to watch high-demand cable channels on a budget. But, it’s not a great service for watching the 2024 Masters Tournament because it doesn’t carry CBS in any market. It does carry ESPN though, so you can watch the first two rounds of the Masters, but to watch the weekend, you would need to add a subscription Paramount+ to catch the coverage on CBS.

To watch the entire 2024 Masters golf tournament, you’ll need a live TV streaming service that carries CBS and ESPN. You’ll find The Streamable’s advice on which one to choose below!

Best Ways to Stream The 2024 Masters

Top Choice: DIRECTV STREAM

  • Five-day free trial for all new users
  • Limited-time offer of $25 off per month for the first two months
  • Huge selection of top cable channels

Best Alternative: Hulu + Live TV

  • Carries CBS and ESPN
  • Free Access to Disney Bundle included (with ESPN+)

How to Stream The 2024 Masters

The 2024 Masters golf tournament is airing on ESPN and CBS, which means DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV all carry the needed channel, as well as Paramount+. Sling TV isn’t a good option as it doesn’t carry CBS.

Best Choice for Watching the 2024 Masters: DIRECTV STREAM

DIRECTV STREAM and its wide selection of top channels, including CBS and ESPN is perfect for watching the entire 2024 Masters Golf Tournament. The service comes with a five-day free trial for all new customers. DIRECTV STREAM also offers new users $25 off per month for their first two months of service on any plan, after which prices start at $79.99 per month.

DIRECTV STREAM carries all the channels you’ll need to watch college and professional sports this year and more of the most in-demand cable channels than any other live TV service. Plus, users can upgrade to the Choice plan if they want to see their local NHL and NBA teams via regional sports networks.

Best Alternative With Awesome Value: Hulu + Live TV

Hulu + Live TV is a great option for watching the 2024 Masters Golf Tournament because it carries all the channels you need to watch every round. Even better, when you sign up at $76.99, you also get to watch Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ at no extra cost! That’s a ton of free value for folks looking to get as much value as possible for their dollar.

Great Choice for Sports Fans: Fubo

Fubo offers new customers a free trial, though the length of that trial depends on what time of month you sign up for the service. Fubo carries both ESPN and CBS in most areas and is great for sports fans who want to stream the NBA, NHL, or MLB as it carries regional sports networks (RSNs) for 98% of American viewers. Its plans start at $79.99 per month, but that doesn’t factor in the RSN fee that most viewers will have to pay.

Last Option: YouTube TV

YouTube TV is available for as little as $72.99 per month, and it carries CBS and ESPN so you can watch the 2024 Masters. Since it doesn’t come with any big first-month discounts or free streaming services, however, The Streamable thinks you can find a better choice for watching the games.
