
Disney is making sure that subscribers get more bank for their bucks. In addition to bringing you Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ for the bargain price of $12.99, its equipping Disney+ movies with an Extras feature, that allows viewers to watch behind-the-scenes footage as well as interviews with stars from their favorites movies.
This means you get a access to the makings of all Disney/Pixar/Marvel/Star Wars films which will be exclusive to Disney+. Footage from movies like the live-action versions of Aladdin, The Lion King, Captain Marvel, and Avengers: Endgame will be made available to you on Disney+.
In addition to these films, Disney+ will also be launching with an original slate that includes a 10-episode Star Wars series from Jon Favreau which will be available at launch in November. The first year will include 25 new original series, 10+ movies, 7,500 past episodes, 100 recent movies, and 400 library titles including the entire Disney Vault. Previously, many of those new releases and library films would have gone to Netflix as part of a distribution deal that started in 2016.
