The 2023 Daytime Emmy Awards show is just around the corner, and it’s an event you won’t want to miss. Viewers at home can tune in as the 50th running of this event takes place at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles. Join hosts Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner (Entertainment Tonight) as they recognize the best in daytime television. The special event kicks off at 9 p.m. ET on Friday, Dec. 15 on CBS. About 2023 Daytime Emmy Awards

Originally scheduled to take place in June, the 2023 Daytime Emmy Awards were pushed back to December due to the dual writers and actress strikes that took place over the summer. Now, the best from across daytime programming will gather on Friday, Dec. 15 to celebrate the year that was.

One of the special honors will go to “All My Children” icon Susan Lucci, who will receive an award for Lifetime Achievement. The award will be presented by Shemar Moore who also gave the erstwhile Erica Kane her first historic Emmy win in 1999.

Presenters for the evening will include icons of daytime as the show pays tribute to 50 years, including Lauralee Bell, Peter Bergman, Michael Damian, Don Diamont, Mary Beth Evans, Akbar Gbajabiamila, Drake Hogestyn, Finola Hughes, Amanda Kloots, A Martinez, John McCook, Melody Thomas Scott, Heather Tom, Donnell Turner, Kym Whitley, and Laura Wright.

Maury Povich and Connie Chung will make special appearances to present the Gold & Silver Circle honorees and the In Memoriam tribute, respectively.

In addition to watching the awards show on CBS, Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers can stream it live. The program will also be available to stream on-demand on Paramount+ on Saturday, Dec. 16.
