Team Europe, captained by Luke Donald, and Team USA, captained by Zach Johnson will face off in a mix of team and individual match play rounds to determine who takes home one of the most coveted prizes in the entire sport. The 2023 Ryder Cup is being played at the majestic Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Guidonia Montecelio, just outside of Rome. The United States currently holds the Ryder Cup after defeating the European side 19–9 at Whistling Straits in 2021. This year, Donald’s side will look to ride the strength of three of the top-four players in the world in No. 2 Rory McIlroy, No. 3 Jon Rahm, and No. Viktor Hovland.

The top player in golf right now is the U.S.’s Scottie Scheffler and he will be joined by five other top-10 players as the Americans are hoping to win the cup on European ground for the first time since 1993.
