One of the most glamorous events of the year takes place on Monday, May 6 as the 2024 Met Gala will welcome the biggest names in fashion, entertainment, sports, and more to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. This year’s gala is in support of the new exhibit Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion and Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez, and Zendaya serve as co-chairs. The annual Met Gala is a fundraiser for the Met’s Costume Institute, which is the only department at the museum that is required to pay for itself. The Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion exhibit will include over 250 costumes from across four centuries. The dress code for Monday’s event is “The Garden of Time,” which is inspired by a 1962 J.G. Ballard short story, so prepare yourself for all sorts of flora and clock-themed ensembles.

E!’s red carpet coverage will begin at 6 p.m. with Ross Mathews on site providing interviews and first looks with all of the celebrities on hand.
