On Thursday, four of the most storied programs in men’s college hockey history face off in the Frozen Four, and now just two remain. On Saturday, April 13, the No. 3 Denver Pioneers and No. 1 Boston College Eagles will meet to determine who wins the 2024 NCAA Men’s Hockey Championship. In Thursday’s first semifinal, the Boston College blanked the unseeded Michigan Wolverines 4-0 to move on to the championship game. BC is looking to win its sixth NCAA title, which would break its tie with Bean Pot rival Boston University. Unfortunately, they are up against the team that not only knocked BU out of the title game, but is also looking to move past Michigan to become the program with the most titles in men’s hockey history.

Denver and the Wolverines both came into the Frozen Four with nine titles, and now the Pioneers are one win away from getting to double digits, however, they needed two extra periods to get here. Denver and BU were tied at 1-1 through regulation, but a Tristan Broz double-overtime goal to advance.

Now these two storied programs will meet up in a contest that is sure to be one for the ages. The game will air on ESPN2 at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 13.
