In honor of the 50th anniversary of “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving,” Apple TV+ is set to make the beloved holiday favorite available for free this weekend. While it is already available to subscribers, on Saturday, Nov. 18 and Sunday, Nov. 19, it will be free for anyone to watch on the Apple TV platform. In this classic animated film, Peppermint Patty invites everyone to Charlie Brown’s for Thanksgiving, even though he’s going to see his grandmother. Snoopy decides to cook his own version of a Thanksgiving meal with help from his friends. You can watch with a 7-Day Free Trial of Apple TV+.

For generations, Peanuts cartoons have been synonymous with the holidays. Starting with “It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” and running through Christmas there is always a Charlie Brown special to watch and you can stream them all on Apple TV+. With Thanksgiving coming up next week, now is the perfect time to revisit the classic “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.”

Turkey, cranberries, pumpkin pie… and the Peanuts gang to share them with. This is going to be the greatest Thanksgiving ever! The fun begins when Peppermint Patty invites herself and her pals to Charlie Brown’s house for a really big turkey party. Good grief! All our hero can cook is cold cereal and maybe toast.

Is Charlie Brown doomed? Not when Linus, Snoopy, and Woodstock chip in to save the (Thanksgiving) Day. With such good friends, Charlie Brown - and all of us - have so many reasons to be thankful.
