This was uncharted territory for him and brought about many changes to his social life. Due to his loneliness, the 29-year-old Flordia man became desperate and began a relationship with a cam girl named Silvie. It wasn’t long before it became an addiction and he felt desperate to win her love. Amato began reinventing himself in the virtual space to keep Silvie’s attention, which prompted him to steal $200,000 from his family and spend it online.
Ultimately, things took an even darker turn with his loneliness and his relationship with Silvie. Because he so desperately desired to earn her love, Amato made a drastic move. He murdered his entire family execution style. His disturbing story doesn’t end with their deaths, however. The docuseries delves into the legal case and his time behind bars. All of the bizarre details unfold over the course of three episodes in “CTRL+ALT+DESIRE.”
