How to watch New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys: NFL live stream info, TV channel, start time, odds

This game should be more hyped, with both team neck and neck in the NFC East standings and looking to make a push toward the NFL playoffs in the second half of the season. Instead, you have a Dallas Cowboys team that is about where you would think they should be, in second place in the division. Then you have the New York Giants, whose season has been very forgettable to everyone associated with it. The Cowboys are big favorites at home, and this one could get ugly for the Giants quickly.

Odds & Analysis

Betting Lines

Favorite Spread Over/Under
Dallas -17 39.5

Losers of four of their past five and now without their starting quarterback, it’s easy to see why the New York Giants would be large underdogs to their division rival. Dallas sits comfortably in second in the NFC East, but would like to make a run toward the first-place Philadelphia Eagles. Winning this game at home against a rookie quarterback is a chance they cannot let pass.

Team Stats

Statistic NY Giants Dallas
Points Scored per Game 11.2 27.5
Points Allowed per Game 24.1 18.5
Total Yards Gained 2,687 2,935
Total Yards Allowed 3,173 2,438

The Giants are the lowest-scoring team in the league. They have the worst passing offense and on the flip side, are 24th in the league in scoring defense. Dallas, meanwhile, is third in the league is scoring, and its second is sixth in points allowed.

New York Giants and Dallas Quarterback Matchup:

QB Team CMP ATT CMP% YDS AVG TD INT RTG
Tommy DeVito NY Giants 17 27 63.0 174 6.4 1 2 62.9
Dak Prescott Dallas 186 265 70.2 2,011 7.6 13 5 100.7

This was not who the Giants thought would be starting this week. Their top choice would have been Daniel Jones, who will miss the remainder of the season with injury. Their second choice? Tyrod Taylor, who is on injured reserve with an injury. So the job falls to undrafted rookie Tommy DeVito, who will look to provide some sort of spark to an offense that has sputtered thus far.

Let’s give Dak Prescott some credit, okay? The guy has played pretty solid this season. He and top wideout CeeDee Lamb have been nearly unstoppable the past three weeks. Prescott has had his most productive outings the last two games, and Lamb has three straight 100-yard games.
