The “Dark Side of the Ring” series tells the unbelievable behind-the-scenes stories from the world of professional wrestling. This season will cover a range of wrestlers, including Kurt Angle – the former gold medalist in freestyle wrestling at the 1996 Olympic Games – and his struggle with injury and addiction. The show will also do a deep dive on “Gentleman” Chris Adams - a name many may not recognize.

The late British wrestler won 26 titles over his 23-year professional career while training Stone Cold Steve Austin and taking the superkick finisher mainstream. He also won silver medals at the 1980 and 1984 Summer Olympics.

The Season 5 premiere will focus on John “Earthquake” Tenta – the late Canadian wrestler who became a star in the World Wrestling Federation, kicking up feuds with megastars like Hulk Hogan and winning the WWF Tag Team Championship with partner, “Typhoon” (Alex Ottman).
