With six final episodes after its mid-season break, the spinoff to its groundbreaking “The Walking Dead” will try to find salvation for its survivors, who will need to protect their safe haven from unwanted attention and prove once and for all they deserve to have it saved at all. Season 8, Part 2 of “Fear the Walking Dead” will premiere on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC and AMC+ and will conclude on Sunday, Nov. 19 with two back-to-back episodes. About 'Fear the Walking Dead' Season Premiere

“The Walking Dead” spinoff series “Fear the Walking Dead” currently stars Lennie James as Morgan Jones, formerly a part of Rick Grimes’ group on , who encounters the core group of survivors from Seasons 1–3, as well as new survivors in Texas.

In the second half of its final season, Madison (Kim Dickens) has “set [her] sights on transforming PADRE into the safe haven the old Stadium was meant to be. But in doing so the island becomes a target as well as a beacon as word of Madison and this land of resources spreads, attracting unwanted attention that puts PADRE back in peril and questions whether our heroes even deserve to save it.”

In addition to James and Dickens, the series stars Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Austin Amelio, Christine Evangelista, Karen David, Jenna Elfman, and Rubén Blades.

This season’s six episodes will conclude the series, which wraps up after eight years. It was the second TV series within the “Walking Dead” Franchise, originally serving as a prequel before catching up with the events of the parent series.
