About ‘Fixer Upper: The Hotel’ Premiere
In the new series, Chip and Joanna are tasked with creating a fabulous hotel called Hotel 1928. They are taking over a historic building and want to preserve the vintage charm while providing modern lodging to guests. The building is in close proximity to Magnolia Market in Waco, so visitors can stay in a fixer-upper while in town.
“Fixer Upper: The Hotel” brings viewers along for the wild ride as the home renovation pros get to work. Throughout the series’ six episodes, viewers will watch the dynamic duo give the historic building new life. Along the exciting journey, the pair will make many tough decisions about what vintage details should stay and what must go.
Chip and Joanna head to the former Grand Karem Shrine building to bring their ideas to life. Their goal is to create 33 rooms across the building’s four floors. They also want to offer guests several gathering spaces with a restaurant, ballroom for events, and a rooftop terrace.
