About 'For What It's Worth'
“For What It’s Worth” is the story of Naomi Samuels, a highly-skilled and well-known physician who suffers a public humiliation. She quickly finds herself unemployed, and returns to her hometown to reconnect with foster siblings she has tried to ignore for years. Even reunited, however, the siblings may not have enough strength to deal with a challenge that takes them all to the edge.
“Everyone deserves to be heard, seen, and supported emotionally, spiritually, and physically, said the film’s director Courtney Arlett. “My hope is that “For What It’s Worth” helps to shine a light on the tremendous need for growth in mental health support within our community.”
