How to Watch ‘Frogger’ Premiere Online on Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, iOS, & Android
A totally eighties remake emerges with Damon Wayans Jr. at the helm.
While this isn’t the first time we’ve seen an adaptation of Frogger hit televisions—if you were a kid in the eighties you likely remember the Saturday Supercade on CBS and its adaptation of Frogger — it’s probably the closest to the original source material. Now we get to see what a game show version of Frogger might look like with modern technology powering it, and all you’ll have to do to catch it yourself is to hit NBC’s Peacock streaming service.
How to Watch Frogger premiere
Hosted by actor-comedian Damon Wayans Jr., who himself is backed up by Good Morning Football’s own Kyle Brandt, this version of Frogger is one part eighties coin-muncher and one part Wipeout. Contestants will take on a series of themed courses — look for Frogs in Space to show up alongside Frog Skull Island, Toad Temple, and a slate of others — and negotiate a series of obstacles to get from one side of a watery gulf to the other.
The competitor who reaches the end of that day’s series of courses will net a hundred thousand frogskins, by which I mean “US dollars.” The first three episodes of “Frogger” go live on September 9, and new episodes will arrive every Thursday.
