About the Los Angeles Rams vs. the Indianapolis Colts
Two of the biggest names in the league are missing in this game - one from each team. For the Colts, it’s running back Jonathan Taylor. He is on injured reserve with an ankle injury. For the Rams, it’s wide receiver Cooper Kupp, who is on IR with a hamstring injury.
As for who is on the field, the Colts are expecting Richardson to be cleared from concussion protocol. If he can go, he will start. Zack Moss is starting to find his footing as the team’s lead back for the moment, rushing for 210 yards and a score. Zaire Franklin, a linebacker, has been all over the place on defense and leads the way with 45 tackles and a sack.
The Rams and Stafford haven’t yet found their rhythm on offense just yet. With Kupp out, rookie Puka Nacua has stepped into the forefront and has 30 catches for 338 yards. In the backfield, Cam Akers was the expected starter, but now he has been traded away and Kyren Williams is the lead back. Williams has 142 rushing yards and four total touchdowns. Linebacker Ernest Jones has totaled 28 tackles on defense, while defensive lineman Aaron Donald (1.5 sacks) must always be accounted for.
