Johnson (“Dino Dana,” “Endlings,” “Ghostwriter”), inking Ship Entertainment, and the Jane Goodall Institute, “Jane” stars Ava Louise Murchison as nine-year-old Jane Garcia, a budding environmentalist on a quest to save endangered animals. Aided by her powerful imagination and her best friends David (Mason Bloomberg) and Greybeard the chimpanzee, she explores the world, protecting wild animals one epic adventure at a time under the mission of her idol, Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE: “Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help, can they be saved.”

The mission-driven family and kids series is inspired by the work of the world-renowned ethologist and conservationist and also stars Tamara Almeida with Dan Abramovici, Jazz Allen, Sam Marra, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Mark McKinney, Mary-Louise Parker, Brian George, Jayne Eastwood, and more were among Season 1’s recurring and guest list.

The series, which premiered last year, was nominated for five Children’s and Family Emmy Awards for its first season, winning the statuette for Outstanding Visual Effects for a Live Action Program.
