In the premiere episode, the series examines a murder involving a grandmother and her grandson. The grandson claims his grandma shot him first, which is why he killed her. This turns into a deeper investigation into the family’s complicated past and reveals their secrets.

The second episode of “Kill or Be Killed” dives into a case that begins with two friends Christmas shopping together. One friend ends up killing the other and argues that it was done in self-defense. However, the truth is unknown and complicates the jury’s verdict.

Throughout the season, the series highlights other similar cases and reveals how justice may or may not be served.
