About 'Loot' Season 2 Premiere
“Loot” Season 2 finds Molly Wells (Maya Rudolph) setting into her role as head of the Wells Foundation, a philanthropic organization built to help her distribute her funds to people who need it most. Molly has decided to give away every cent of the money inherited from her divorce from John Novak (Adam Scott), and she thinks she’s found a way to do it through a low-cost housing initiative.
Wells has also sworn off new relationships, though she always has her trusted assistant Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster) on hand to give her good advice or tip a little gin into her kale smoothie. She’s got to keep the various big personalities at the Wells Foundation on track if she wants to make a difference with her dollars, but she’s always got an eye for goofing off too.
