The Tigers sit third in the SEC West, with a 6-3 record and are coming off a loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide last week by a score of 42-28. The Gators, meanwhile, are fourth in the SEC East with a 5-4 record and are coming off a tough 39-36 overtime loss to the Razorbacks.

LSU senior Jayden Daniels has been lights out for the Tigers this season. He leads the SEC in total passing yards with 2,792, while his 72.1 percent completion rate is second only to Gator’s QB Graham Mertz (73.9 percent) and the Bulldogs Carson Beck (72.20). He leads the conference in yards per play with 11.3 and has thrown only four interceptions all year on 247 attempts. And his 27 touchdowns are second in all of college football. He’s coming off the worse performance of the season though in a loss last week to Alabama Crimson Tide where he went 15-for-24, and only 9.1 average yards per play.

For Florida, Graham Mertz has held his own this season. Mertz’s 73.9 percent completion rate is first in the SEC, while he sits sixth in total yards (2,409), and third in the conference with 17 TDs. He’s coming off a 39-36 OT loss to the Razorbacks where he went 26-for-42 (61.9 percent) and racked up three TDs.
