Now she and her Iowa Hawkeyes are entering March Madness as a No. 1 seed and are looking to get back to the national title gamer for the second year in a row, but this time, they plan on cutting down the nets. The No. 1 Hawkeyes will open their Big Dance against the No. 16 Holy Cross Crusaders on Saturday, March 23 at 3 p.m. ET in a game airing on ABC. Don’t miss a second of the action. Clark and the Hawkeyes enter the NCAA Tournament having won the Big Ten Tournament title and claiming one of the Big Dance’s four No. 1 seeds. They will open the tournament at home against No. 16 Holy Cross and should they win, they will face the winner of No. 8 West Virginia and No. 9 Princeton. From there, they would advance to the Albany, New York Regional for the Sweet 16 to play either No. 4 Kansas State or No. 5 Colorado.

The other No. 1 seeds include USC, Texas, and the undefeated South Carolina Gamecocks. The defending national champion LSU Tigers claimed a three-seed this year and have already advanced to the Round of 32. The Hawkeyes’ conference rival, the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes, are in future Big Ten foe USC’s region. If they both advance to the regional finals, they will meet in a rematch of their season opener, in which the Trojans beat the Buckeyes 83 to 74.
