“Presumed Innocent” is based on the New York Times bestselling author Scott Turow. It follows Rusty Sabich, the chief deputy prosecutor in Chicago’s Prosecuting Attorney’s office. Rusty thinks he’s got it all; a great job, a fantastic marriage, and a lifestyle that shows off his success. But all of that changes when a gruesome murder case rips through the community, and Sabich himself is a suspect.

As the case progresses, more and more of Sabich’s secrets are unveiled to the public, casting doubt on the man his colleagues thought they knew. The show will explore themes of sex, lies, and the politics of power, as Rusty fights to prove his innocence and keep his marriage together. The star-studded ensemble cast also includes Ruth Negga, Bill Camp, O-T Fagbenle, Chase Infiniti, Elizabeth Marvel, Nana Mensah, Renate Reinsve, Peter Sarsgaard, and Kingston Rumi Southwick.
