About 'Priscilla'
Based on the book “Elvis and Me” by Priscilla Presley with Sandra Harmon, Sofia Coppola’s “Priscilla” is set to join Baz Luhrmann’s “Elvis” on Max on Friday, Feb. 23. The film begins as teenage Priscilla Beaulieu (Spaeny) meets Elvis Presley (Elordi) at a party.
Already a massive star, the man that Priscilla assumes Elvis will be, turns out to be far different than who he actually is. While his superstar, heartthrob persona is well-known to the public, behind closed doors, he is lonely and gentle. Spaeny, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance, takes Priscilla her relationship with Elvis from giddy crush to soulful best friend to turbulent marriage.
