About 'Quiet on Set: Breaking the Silence'

Throughout the first four episodes of “Quiet on Set,” the producers worked to bring awareness of all that went on behind the scenes of hit Nickelodeon shows airing in the 1990s and early 2000s. Shows like “Drake and Josh,” “All That,” and others were comedy series geared toward children and young adults. As shown in “Quiet on Set,” however, it wasn’t all happy and lighthearted. Sadly, allegations of sexism, racism, and abuse ran rampant.

Due to the series’ popularity, Investigation Discovery is releasing another episode to continue sharing the dark, scary realities of children’s TV shows. “Quiet on Set: Breaking the Silence” features an important conversation led by award-winning journalist Soledad O’Brien. Familiar Nickelodeon stars Drake Bell, Giovonnie Samuels, Bryan Hearne, Hearne’s mother, Tracey Brown, Shane Lyons, and others will share their stories. They will also discuss how they feel about the four-part docuseries and open up about their thoughts on children’s television today and in the past. They offer insight into where this industry is headed.
