The Cartoon Network adult animated series “Rick and Morty” will return this Sunday, Oct. 15 during its Adult Swim late-night block, premiering the first of its 10 episodes and beginning a whole-new journey of interdimensional and domestic adventures (and with a whole new sound). About ‘Rick and Morty’ Season 7 Premiere

“Rick and Morty” follows Rick, a sociopathic and cynical mad scientist who drags his good-hearted, timid grandson Morty on dangerous adventures across space, time, and infinite realities on Rick’s flying saucer. The pair split their life between their travels and their equally dysfunctional domestic lives. The Emmy-winning series has been rated the number-one comedy across all of cable for its past four seasons and has become a global phenomenon.

The voice cast of “Rick and Morty” was previously led by co-creator Justin Roiland in both title roles before his dismissal and recasting, but Cartoon Network has kept the new choice (or choices) for the lead characters close to its chest up to the premiere. Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer, and Sarah Chalke make up the rest of the principal voice cast.

Season 7 of “Rick and Morty” will premiere on Sunday, Oct. 15 at 11 p.m. ET/PT on Adult Swim. The new season will be available to stream on Hulu in 2024.
