The two townhall meetings will be presented live from Grand View University in Des Moines. Governor DeSantis will host the first meeting at 9 p.m., moderated by CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins. The Haley meeting will follow at 10 p.m., and will be moderated by CNN anchor Erin Burnett. Both meetings will be available live on CNN.
Polls continue to show former President Trump with a big lead over Haley and DeSantis, who are vying to show themselves as the top alternative to the indictment-riddled Trump. Haley and DeSantis will answer questions from the audience and try as best they can to lay out their views and make a clear case to voters as the Iowa caucuses approach.
