About ‘Survivor’ Season 45 Premiere

The high-stakes survival-style show is back and bigger than ever with new contestants eager to put their skills to the test. As prior seasons have proven, the competition isn’t for the faint of heart. Already, CBS has teased that this is the grittiest season yet.

On “Survivor” Season 45, the 18 castaways head to Fiji. There, they join forces, splitting into three tribes of six people. They must push through a variety of mental and physical challenges to continue surviving from one day to the next. Along the way, they must face their personal morals and decide what lengths they’re willing to go to so they can survive it all.

On Wednesday night, viewers will get to know the following castaways a little bit better. Then, tune in weekly to see how they fare in the rough conditions.

Frequent physical challenges are used to pit the tribes against each other for rewards, such as food or luxuries, or for “Immunity”, forcing the other tribe to attend “Tribal Council”, where they must vote off one of their players.
