“The Amazing Race” is getting ready to debut its 35th season on CBS and Paramount+ on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 9:30 p.m. ET. This season, 13 teams of two will travel around the world. About ‘The Amazing Race’ Season 35 Premiere

This season of “The Amazing Race” will feature a record 13 teams, all competing for a $1 million prize. Teams will travel nearly 24,000 miles across the globe this season and will head to a country never seen on the show before, Slovenia. There, teams will fly in a gravity-defying glider, 2,000 feet over Lake Bled, cross-country ski indoors and climb 1,110 steps to the top of Planica’s tallest ski jump, among other once-in-a-lifetime challenges.

Other locales in this year’s competition will include Thailand, India, Germany, Sweden, Ireland, and Washington state. One team will be eliminated every single week, and the premiere episode of this season will be a super-sized 90-minute special to help kick things off in style.
