About ‘The Enfield Poltergeist’ Premiere

The four-part docu-series “The Enfield Poltergeist” tells the story of the most famous poltergeist haunting in history: the 1977 haunting of an everyday family in Enfield, London, which dominated headlines across the United Kingdom. Not only did the chilling story terrify a generation of Brits and change ideas about the supernatural forever, it became the basis for several fictionalized version of the case, including “The Conjuring 2,” the recent stage play “The Enfield Haunting,” and more.

The genre-bending series reconstructs and recreates the events at Enfield with the use of over 250 hours of rare audio archive including the real recordings captured by Maurice Grosse, original and present-day interviews with people impacted by the case, and a full-scale reenactment complete with a replica of the house.
