Music has enormous power to make the listener feel their deepest feelings. The right song can even transport the hearer to a different time or place, but what if music had the power to literally transport listeners through time? “The Greatest Hits,” which premieres on Hulu on Friday, April 12 follows a woman who finds she has the ability to jump through time using her favorite songs. Will she change the past to give herself a new future? You can watch with a 30-Day Free Trial of Hulu.
About 'The Greatest Hits'
“The Greatest Hits” centers on Harriet (Lucy Boynton), a woman still grieving for her lost love. A car accident stole her beloved boyfriend from her before his time, and Lucy finds that nothing relieves the pain of his passing — not even listening to her favorite songs, though she finds music a better refuge than well-meaning friends who cannot truly help her.
But soon, Harriet finds that her music has the power to transport her through time! She spends her days reliving romantic memories with her old boyfriend, even as she grows closer to a new man in her present-day life. Ultimately, she’s forced to choose whether or not she will change history to help her old beau survive, or if she’s willing to accept the dictates of time and fate and look to her future.
