There is nowhere more stressful and chaotic during the holidays than the mall. Now imagine having that rather than dashing in to get a last-minute gift, you have to not only work there, but that you also happen to fall in love there as well. That’s the story behind the new holiday romantic comedy series “The Holiday Shift” arriving on The Roku Channel on Friday, Nov. 17. In the five-episode series, we follow the intersecting love stories of young mall employees during the holiday season amidst all of the difficult shoppers, overzealous bosses, and long-lost loves. In the new Roku Original series “The Holiday Shift,” when Sam (played by Varun Saranga) runs into Tess (Devyn Nekoda) — “the one that got away” — while working at the mall, he goes into action in order to try and win her back while his friends and fellow mall workers brave the holiday rush all while everyone is trying to juggle work and romantic issues of their own.
In addition to Saranga and Nekoda, the series stars Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Nadine Bhabha, Brielle Robillard, Michael Delleva, and featuring Sarah Levy and Jon Dore as well.
