About 'The Spiderwick Chronicles' Season 1

It’s time for the Grace family to start over. Matriarch Helen decides to pack up her daughter Mallory, as well as her twin boys Jared and Simon and get out of New York City. She removes them from their urban confines to the Spiderwick Estate, a sprawling household in Michigan that has housed multiple generations of the Grace family.

Not long after their arrival, Jared stumbles upon a boggart at Spiderwick, leading him to the inescapable conclusion that magical creatures are real! His great-aunt Lucinda is the only one who believes him, however, and soon she charges him with carrying on her father’s mission of saving all magical creatures from the evil ogre Mulgarath. To help him, Lucinda urges Jared to find her father’s field guide full of notes and details on magical beings.
