But the Marines also have a flight training program, and host Dennis Quaid will give audiences close up view of the school and its highly skilled combat flight candidates in “Top Combat Pilot,” the new series coming to Fox Nation on Monday, Nov. 6. About 'Top Combat Pilot' Premiere
The Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) course has been called the most elite aviation program in America. Now, flight enthusiast and licensed pilot Dennis Quaid will take audiences deep inside the Marines’ prestigious combat flight training program, showing pilots honing their skills on highly-tuned machines like the F-18 or the Huey and Cobra helicopters. Those aviators who manage to impress the most during their WTI course are invited back as instructors, inviting the participants to go full throttle as they compete to be the best.
“Dennis Quaid not only played a pilot in the iconic movie ‘The Right Stuff,’ but he is also a licensed pilot — we couldn’t think of a better person to host this series,” said Jason Klarman, president of Fox Nation.
