How to Watch UFC 299: O’Malley vs. Vera 2 Live Online Without Cable

UFC 299 will be headlined by a rematch more than three and a half years in the making as Sean O’Malley will put his Bantamweight title on the line as he looks to avenge his sole UFC career loss against Marlon Vera. The fight will be the main event on the card, which kicks off at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 9 on ESPN+ with the early prelims. The main prelims will begin at 8 p.m. also on ESPN and ESPN Deportes, while the main card gets underway at 10 p.m. on ESPN+ pay-per-view. However, O’Malley vs. Vera 2 isn’t the only major fight on the card as the co-main event will be a rare five-round non-title fight as Dustin Poirier will face Benoit Saint Denis. You can watch the entire event with a subscription to ESPN+ and by purchasing the PPV for $79.99.

About UFC 299: O’Malley vs. Vera 2

Reigning men’s bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley (17-1) has lost only once in his UFC career and that was in August 2020 at UFC 252. Marlon “Chito” Vera holds that sole victory over the champ and on Saturday, the highly anticipated rematch be for O’Malley’s belt. With a victory in the octagon, O’Malley will avenge his only defeat, but if Vera emerges victorious, he will become the first-ever UFC champion from Ecuador.

In the co-main event, former interim UFC Lightweight Champion Dustin Poirier (29-8) will take on up-and-coming star Benoit Saint Denis. The fight will be Poirier’s 30th in his UFC career which includes a pair of marquee victories over Conor McGregor. Saint Denis (13-1) is proving to be a force in UFC with 13 finishes over his 13 career victories. With a win on Saturday night, it would not be surprising if a lightweight title shot was in the near future for the former French special forces soldier.
