How to Watch the Vanderbilt Commodores vs. Kentucky Wildcats

About the Vanderbilt Commodores vs. Kentucky Wildcats

Vanderbilt is led by quarterback AJ Swann, who is tops in the SEC with 1,101 passing yards and 11 touchdowns. Both numbers are also good for fourth in the nation. Will Sheppard and London Humphreys be his favorite targets, with Sheppard hauling in two touchdowns in each of the Commodores’ first three games? Humphreys, a freshman, was on the receiving end of a 96-yard touchdown last week in a close loss to UNLV. C.J. Taylor is the name to watch on defense with 30 tackles, three sacks, and a forced fumble.

Kentucky has raised its national profile in recent years under coach Mark Stoops, but the Wildcats have yet to maintain its success. Quarterback transfer Devin Leary, who joined the Wildcats from the [N.C. State Wolfpack] in the offseason, has thrown for 855 yards and eight touchdowns against three interceptions. Tayvion Robinson is the biggest beneficiary of Leary’s arm, hauling in 14 catches for 260 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Ray Davis is a transfer from Vanderbilt and has rushed for 236 yards and three touchdowns so far with his new team. Trevin Wallace leads the defense with 24 tackles and 3.5 sacks.
