Hulu has renewed “Ramy” for a second season, premiering May 29. Starring Ramy Youssef, the series revolves around the Egyptian-American’s spiritual journey in his New Jersey neighborhood. Now, he finds a new Muslim community and navigates the challenges of the millennial generation.

Oscar winner Mahershala Ali (“Moonlight”) will join him in the upcoming 10-episode season.

The series also features Mohammed Amer, Hiam Abbass, Amr Waked, May Calamawy, Dave Merheje, Laith Nakli and Steve Way.

Youssef writes and executive produces the show. It is produced by A24.

The streamer also announced “And We Go Green,” a documentary from Appian Way, Leonardo DiCaprio’s production company, will air on June 4.

The 88-minute eco-friendly doc charts the rise of Formula E electric car racing and its relationship to global warming. Co-directed by Oscar-winner Fisher Stevens (“Before the Flood”), “Green” employs key interviews and footage to examine the world’s fastest-growing motorsport.

On the animation front, Hulu’s original “Solar Opposites” became the No. 1 SVOD title on the service since its May 8 launch. A show about four aliens that crash land in suburban America, it was co-created by the “Rick & Morty” team, Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan.

Finally, to help user access their content more quickly and discover new shows, Hulu has revamped its TV navigation system, starting with tvOS. The update began a rollout on Apple TV and Roku; other TV platforms will follow in the coming months.
