Max Adds Matthew Perry Tribute to ‘Friends’ Episodes

Matthew Perry, star of one of the most ubiquitous comedies of the 1990s, has passed away. Perry’s death was reported first by TMZ on Saturday, Oct. 28, and though drowning was given as the initial cause of death, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has not released an official cause as of yet. Perry was 54 years old at the time of his death.

  • Users can stream ‘Friends’ with or without ads on Max.
  • Other Perry titles can be found on Peacock, Paramount+ and multiple other services.
  • Some of the actor’s shows and moves are not currently available, but that could change in the coming weeks.

Tributes began to pour in almost immediately from colleagues and fans around the world. Warner Bros. Discovery streaming service Max is the current streaming home for Perry’s biggest career highlight, “Friends.” To celebrate and remember the late star, the streamer added a tribute title card before the season premiere of each episode of the series.
