Philo Launches Six New Channels From MSG, AMC, Shudder, More

The skinny bundle streamer is adding channels from AMC Networks, WE tv, TV One, and Weigel Broadcasting.

Whether you are in search of sports, scares, or something in between, customers of the live TV streaming skinny bundle Philo have even more options. The streamer has added five new free channels to its lineup that include programming from MSG, Shudder, TV One, and more. Philo has also added Dabl to its base package lineup. The channel highlights African American comedies and characters with some of the most iconic Black sitcoms of all time.

Philo has added five new channels to its lineup of free offerings, Overtime, Scares by Shudder, MSG SportsZone, Growing Up Hip Hop WE tv, and TV One Crime & Justice. Overtime and MSG SportsZone allow sports fans to dive deeper into their favorite teams and athletes while Scares by Shudder highlights some of the most spin-tingling titles from the horror outlet. The Growing Up Hip Hop channel opens the archives of the iconic reality series to focus on the children of legendary hip-hop artists. Overtime, MSG SportsZone, Scares by Shudder, and Growing Up Hip Hop WE tv are all owned by AMC Networks.

TV One Crime & Justice programs around-the-clock titles focusing on real-life true crime stories. Finally, Dabl is designed to be a lean-back, bingeable experience for viewers, airing back-to-back episodes of some of the most popular comedies in TV history.

In addition to the half-dozen new channels arriving on Philo, the streamer is also moving [BBC News] to the “Free Channels” section of its guide. All of the new channels have already been added to the platform that includes more than 70 channels on its base plan as well as over 70 free channels. All of these streaming options come at one of the cheapest prices in streaming. After a one-week free trial, Philo costs just $25 per month.

Philo is a live TV streaming service designed for entertainment lovers which includes 60+ channels for $25 per month. It’s an especially attractive option for fans of live TV who don’t watch sports.

They have a single $25 plan with major channels from A&E Networks, AMC Networks, Discovery, Hallmark, and ViacomCBS. These include A&E, AMC, BET, Comedy Central, Discovery, HGTV, MTV, Nickelodeon, and Paramount Network. The service also has a Unlimited DVR, which now keeps your recordings for up to a year.

You’ll also get channels like Cooking Channel, Destination America, Discovery Family, Discovery Life, LOGO, and Nicktoons.

While it doesn’t include any local or sports channels like ESPN, FS1 or NBC Sports Network, it is the cheapest option for live entertainment-only TV.
