PlayStation Vue Moves Tennis Channel to Lower Priced Core Plan

Jason Gurwin

The PlayStation Vue Core Plan was already the best option for sports streamers — but today it gets even better. PlayStation Vue announced that they have moved the Tennis Channel from their more expensive Elite ($60) and Ultra ($80) plans to their $50 Core Plan.

The channel brings 24/7 tennis matches, documentary-style series, and tennis news. You will be able to watch match coverage from the upcoming Australian Open, plus shows like Tennisography, Tennis Channel Academy, and One Minute Clinic.

In addition to the Australian Open, Tennis Channel has telecast rights to the other Grand Slams (the US Open, Wimbledon and Roland Garros/French Open), as well as other ATP World Tour events, top-tier WTA competitions, Davis Cup, Fed Cup and Hopman Cup. It is the only 24-hour, television-based multimedia destination dedicated to both the professional sport and tennis lifestyle.

The channel is also available on services like fuboTV, AT&T TV NOW, Sling TV, YouTube TV.

The channel joins others key sports channels on their Core Plan like NFL Network, NBA TV, and MLB Network — which makes it one of the most compelling options for sports fans.
