Premier Streaming Network to Shut Down at the End of the Month, Return in Q1 2024 as Premier Wrestling App

The platform will shut down at the end of the month, but will relaunch in Q1 2024 as the Premier Wrestling App.

Premier Streaming Network is getting a facelift for 2024 and a new brand identity to reflect its status as a go-to streaming destination for professional wrestling fans. The platform will shut down at the end of the month, but starting in the first quarter of 2024, the service will be referred to as the Premier Wrestling App, and will seamlessly transition content from its former platform to the new one with enhanced features. Best of all, most content will be free for all users.

  • Premier Streaming Network will be discontinued in Q1 2024 and rebrand as ‘Premier Wrestling App.’
  • The company will then seamlessly transition content to the new app, which will have new features
  • Much of the Premier Wrestling App’s library content will then be available for free

What is Premier Streaming Network?

In its current form, Premier Streaming Network is a premium streaming service that focuses on professional wrestling content. Subscribers can watch events hosted by top promotions like TNA, Major League Wrestling, House of Glory, WrestlePro, One Pro Wrestling, No Mercy Wrestling, and more.

In addition, fans can listen to podcasts and shows like “1 of a Kind with RVD,” “Everybody’s Got a Pod with Ted DiBiase,” “Off Her Chops” starring Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee, “The Undisputed Podcast with Bobby Fish,” “Starrcast,” and more. The platform also offers match collections and compilations featuring beloved stars like AJ Styles, Jon Moxley, Kevin Steen (now known as Kevin Owens), Adam Cole, Matt Cardona, MJF, and wrestlers who have passed on like Brian Pillman and Jay Briscoe.

What Wrestling Content Will the Premier Wrestling App Have?

Good news — all of the classic and modern wrestling library content from the old version of the service will be available on the Premier Wrestling App, with the added bonus that much of it will be available for free.

“Our commitment is to provide you with a dynamic, engaging, and accessible platform without the need for a subscription,” Premier Streaming Network said in a statement.

However, wrestling fans should be aware that even after the switch, certain premium events will still be locked behind a paywall.

All this content can be accessed with new features, including:

  • Social connectivity
  • Dedicated arenas for discussions
  • A centralized news hub
  • Exclusive merchandise
  • “Interactive levels”
  • And more

When Can We Watch the Premier Wrestling App?

The company gave no concrete date for the switchover other than to expect the new app’s launch to occur “in the first quarter of 2024.” Until then, subscribers can continue to access content just as they normally would. Customers who paid for a Premier Streaming Network subscription beyond the end of December discontinuation date will receive a prorated refund. In the meantime, customers can access all of the wrestling library at watchonpremier.com for free.

Stay tuned to The Streamable for more details on when the Premier Wrestling App will finally launch. Until then, you can find me watching classic WrestlePro and Northeast Wrestling cards. Can we get some old Jersey All-Pro Wrestling cards too?
