There’s a great variety of new titles heading to top streaming services this week, from popular kids shows to college basketball and everything in between.
Have patience, NCAA basketball fans. The 2024 Men’s Basketball tournament has to wait until next week, and while that probably seems like an eternity for fans of teams heading to the big dance, it’s at least worth noting that the months-long wait for the tournament to start again is almost over!
The best news is that The Streamable will, as usual, have a list of new TV and movie streaming premieres ready to go for basketball fans, as well as audiences who don’t care about sports to get you through the week. Don’t bite your fingernails off or work yourself into a frenzy waiting for March Madness, just distract yourself with the new titles heading to a streaming service near you this week!

‘Cocomelon’ Season 10 Premiere | Netflix
Learn letters, numbers, animal sounds, and more with JJ in this musical series that brings fun times with nursery rhymes for the whole family! This educational show holds incredibly important lessons for kids, and the catchy songs used to show kids how to count or learn their alphabet will help them stick in the minds of toddlers and parents alike!
“Cocomelon” has been one of the most popular TV shows among families with kids since its inception in 2020. In 2022, the show compiled more than 30 billion minutes streamed according to Nielsen, despite the fact that at the time it only had 15 episodes available. Kids and parents alike can gather around their sets this week and see what new adventures JJ and pals are up to now!

‘Never Seen Again’ Season 5 Premiere | Paramount+
This haunting series from Paramount+ features cases in which victims simply…disappear. Each story begins as the last loved one to see the missing person relive that final moment. There is no body, no blood trail, no conclusive proof of injury. But almost always, there are rich digital clues: the location of a final cell phone signal, an ominous text message, or even a selfie posted on social media. Are these people runaways or are they victims?
“Never Seen Again” untangles every possible theory, taking the viewer on a suspenseful detective journey. The show will lay out all the evidence and let the viewer decide what happened, allowing the audience to put on its sleuthing hat and put their investigative skills to the test.

‘Morphle and the Magic Pets’ Series Premiere | Disney+
“Morphle and the Magic Pets” follows Mila and her stepbrother, Jordie, as they leap into a world of adventure with the help of Morphle, Mila’s magical and loyal pet who has the power to morph into whatever she imagines. The trio use their skills and smarts to keep magic pets out of mischief, solve problems, and find ‘magic matches’ for each newcomer.
Morphle was created as a YouTube character, and the Magic Pet’s channel has compiled millions of views since the premiere of the character. Now, Disney+ will import a grand total of 52 seven-minute episodes, as well as 50 more three-minute shorts to tempt kids and parents with another popular addition to its library.

The doctors at Seattle’s Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital are back for a new season of life-saving drama. Each day, this group of medical professionals faces down life-and-death decisions, drawing closer together and forming new relationships that often blow past the bonds of friendship.
In the show’s Season 20 premiere, Meredith rethinks her plans after going rogue in last season’s finale. The interns are on thin ice following a patient’s death, but Simone and Lucas are immediately tested in an emergency. Richard confides in Bailey, and Teddy’s fate is revealed.

‘Manhunt’ Series Premiere | Apple TV+
“Manhunt” is a conspiracy thriller about one of the best-known but least-understood crimes in history, the astonishing story of the hunt for John Wilkes Booth in the aftermath of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. The series focuses on Secretary of War Edwin M. Stanton’s hunt for Booth and his obsession with the possible Confederate plot behind the assassination.
It will be fascinating to see what liberties Apple takes with the historical facts surrounding the Lincoln assassination. Its new series “Masters of the Air” often throws away historical scene-setting in clumsy expositional dialogue moments, and while it’s a good series overall it hardly immerses the viewer in the historical setting of the show. Will “Manhunt” improve on that?

2024 Big East Men’s Basketball Tournament Final | Fox, stream with a subscription to Hulu + Live TV
This one goes out to all the college basketball who are waiting impatiently for March Madness to start. The winner of the Big East automatically gains admission to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, and the game tips off at 6:30 p.m. ET on Fox.
The Big East includes some true powerhouses in men’s basketball, including the University of Connecticut Huskies, Creighton, Seton Hall, Villanova, and more. There’s every chance the eventual March Madness winner comes out of the Big East this year, and fans can get an up-close look at the conference’s best teams in the 2024 Big East tournament final.
