Something to Stream Every Day This Week; ‘Percy Jackson’ Finale, ‘Paging Mr. Darcy’ Premiere, Grammy Awards, More

From the Grammys to a new college basketball series hosted by the legendary Sue Bird, there are lots of new shows and movies coming to streaming this week!

NFL fans hate this week. That’s because the Super Bowl opponents are set, but the big game won’t be played until Feb. 11. That means the upcoming weekend will be the first without any pro football games since September, and is a bleak preview of the long offseason to come.

For those fans, and for everyone else who doesn’t care much about football but needs something new to watch this week, The Streamable has compiled a list of new streaming premieres coming each day to help viewers find something new and fascinating to watch.

A Bloody Lucky Day’ Series Premiere | Paramount+

‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’ Series Premiere | Prime Video

In this version of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” two lonely strangers land jobs working for a mysterious spy agency that offers them a glorious life of espionage, wealth, world travel, and a dream brownstone in Manhattan. The catch? New identities in an arranged marriage as Mr. and Mrs. John and Jane Smith.

This series treads well-traveled ground, but the comedy bonafides of stars Donald Glover and Francesca Sloane should make for highly entertaining watching. It’s especially good to see Glover return to a more purely comedic show, after producing and starring in “Atlanta” alongside Sloane. “Atlanta” is fantastic TV, but its comedy and situations are much more esoteric at times, and “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” should bring the laughs in an easier-to-binge format.
