Netflix’s Live-Action “Avatar: The Last Airbender” Releases New First-Look Photos

Prepare to brave the elements: Netflix has released new first-look images for its highly anticipated live-action “Avatar: The Last Airbender” series. The streamer has released several new photos of Fire Nation characters, including Daniel Dae Kim as Fire Lord Ozai, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as General Iroh, Ken Leung as Commander Zhao, and Elizabeth Yu.

The series will star Gordon Cormier as Aang, as well as Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sakka, and Dallas Liu as Prince Zuko. Like the beloved Nickelodeon animated version, the series follows Aang, the last airbender, as he trains to fulfill his destiny as the Avatar and bring peace to a world that has been decimated by a war waged by the Fire Nation.

The first-episode premiere season has not yet been given an official release date but will debut in 2024.


“BTS: Yet to Come” Coming to Prime Video

Global phenomenon BTS is bringing their concert to you. Prime Video has announced the concert movie “BTS: Yet to Come” will come to the platform in more than 240 countries and territories around the globe starting Nov. 9. The concert was filmed in the Asiad Main Stadium in Busan, South Korea, as part of Busan’s World Expo 2030 bid and was filmed in October 2022.

“Yet to Come” will feature 19 performances of the boy band’s hit tracks, including “Dynamite,” “Butter,” and more, as well as the concert’s speeches, spectacles, and more.


Prime Video Releases “Invincible” Season 2 Trailer

After the shocking events of Season 1, “Invincible” is back to pack an even bigger punch for its second season. During the Prime Video New York Comic Con panel, the streamer released the first trailer for Season 2 of the acclaimed adult animated superhero series.

The first half of the eight-episode second season is set to premiere on the platform on Nov. 3 with new episodes airing weekly. After a mid-season hiatus, the second half will premiere in early 2024.

Based on the comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, “Invincible” revolves around 18-year-old Mark Grayson, who’s just like every other guy his age… except his father is (or was) the most powerful superhero on the planet. Steven Yeun voices Mark, a.k.a Invincible, opposite Sandra Oh, J.K. Simmons, Zazie Beetz, Grey DeLisle, Chris Diamantopoulos, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, and Seth Rogen.


Disney+ Releases Trailer for “The Santa Clauses” Season 2

Christmas has come early at Disney+, which has just released the trailer for Season 2 of its original series “The Santa Clauses.”

A follow-up to the hit franchise of Christmas movies that star Tim Allen as Scott Calvin, an ordinary man who becomes Santa Claus after the real Santa falls off his roof, “The Santa Clauses” sees Scott’s story continue as he and his family return to the North Pole for more adventures.

Elizabeth Mitchell also stars as Mrs. Claus/Carol opposite Austin Kane as Cal Calvin Claus, Elizabeth Allen-Dick as Sandra Calvin Claus, Devin Bright as Noel, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias as Kris Kringle, and Eric Stonestreet as Magnus Antas, The Mad Santa.

“The Santa Clauses” Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ on Nov. 8 with two new episodes, followed by new episodes weekly.


Paramount+ Releases “Colin From Accounts” Trailer

A month after announcing the hit Australian series “Colin From Accounts” would come to its platform, Paramount+ has released the official trailer for the series.

The eight-episode first season of the comedy, which stars real-life married acting/writing duo Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall, will debut in the United States on Nov. 9 exclusively on the streamer.

“Colin From Accounts” follows Ashley and Gordon, “two single(ish), complex humans who are brought together by a nipple flash, a car accident, and an injured dog” as they navigate life together. The series also stars Emma Harvie, Helen Thomson, Genevieve Hegney, Michael Logo, and Tai Hara.

After debuting last year in Australia, the series has received critical and viewer acclaim and was renewed for a second season in August. The first two episodes of “Colin From Accounts” will be available to stream at launch on Paramount+, followed by two new episodes dropping weekly through Nov. 30.
