Apple TV+ Debuts “The Buccaneers” Trailer

Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for its upcoming Edith Wharton-inspired “The Buccaneers,” due out on the platform next month.

Inspired by the Pulitzer Prize-winning author’s unfinished final novel of the same name, the new eight-episode drama follows “a group of fun-loving young American girls who explode into the tightly corseted London season of the 1870s, kicking off an Anglo-American culture clash as the land of the stiff upper lip is infiltrated by a refreshing disregard for centuries of tradition.”

“The Buccaneers” stars Kristine Frøseth, Alisha Boe, Josie Totah, Aubri Ibrag, and Imogen Waterhouse lead the series with Christina Hendricks, Mia Threapleton, Josh Dylan, Guy Remmers, Matthew Broome, and Barney Fishwick making up the rest of the lead and ensemble cast.

“The Buccaneers” will make its global debut on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, Nov. 8 with its first three episodes, followed by a new episode every Wednesday through Dec. 13.

Prime Video Debuts Teaser for “007: Road to a Million”

While the hunt for a new James Bond continues, the worldwide hunt for £1 million has just begun at Prime Video! The streamer has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming United Kingdom Original competition series “007: Road to a Million” from the producers behind the James Bond film franchise.

In the new series, nine pairs of ordinary people will go on a global adventure with a series of Bond-inspired physical and mental challenges for a shot at winning £1 million each. Brian Cox stars in the series as “The Controller,” the on-screen mastermind who dictates where the pairs go—from the Swiss Alps to Chile’s Atacama Desert—and what they do and who has hidden 10 questions around the world for each pair. Each question is worth an increasing amount of money, and if they answer it correctly, they bank the cash and continue to the next challenge. However, if they get it wrong, their journey is over.
