“The Big Door Prize” Season 2 Gets Trailer

Let’s see what’s behind door number two! Apple TV+ has released the trailer for the upcoming second season of its critically acclaimed comedy series “The Big Door Prize,” which will premiere on the streamer on Wednesday, April 24.

Led by Chris O’Dowd and based on the novel of the same name by M.O. Walsh, the series is set in a small town that is forever changed when a mysterious machine appears, promising to reveal everyone’s true potential. In Season 2, the residents of Deerfield ready themselves as the Morpho machine prepares them for the mysterious “next stage.”

In addition to O’Dowd, the ensemble comedy stars Gabrielle Dennis, Djouliet Amara, Sammy Fourlas, Josh Segarra, Crystal Fox, Ally Maki, and Damon Gupton. Season 2 will also feature Justine Lupe, Aaron Roman Weiner, Mary Holland, Patrick Kerr, Cocoa Brown, Carrie Barrett, Elizabeth Hunter, Jim Meskimen, Matt Dellapina, and Melissa Ponzio.

“The Big Door Prize” will premiere on April 24 with three new episodes, followed by a new episode every Wednesday through June 12.


New HBO Original Documentary “An American Bombing: The Road to April 19th” Debuts This Month

HBO has released the trailer for its upcoming historical documentary “An American Bombing: The Road to April 19th.”

Directed by Marc Levin (“Stockton on My Mind”) and executive produced by Katie Couric, “An American Bombing” examines “the surge in homegrown political violence through the story of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, showing the roots of anti-government sentiment and its reverberations today.” The single, deadliest act of domestic terrorism against the government in U.S. history, the mass killing of 168 people by Timothy McVeigh on April 19, 1995, still reverberates in the present day.

The feature documentary will include interviews and testimonials from former President Bill Clinton, bombing survivor Nancy Shaw, investigative reporters Mike Boettcher and Bob Sands, former Oklahoma police officer Daniel Coss, McVeigh’s childhood friend, and many more victims, family members, and experts.

“An American Bombing: The Road to April 19th” will premiere on HBO and Max on Tuesday, April 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.


Netflix Releases “The Circle” Season 6 Trailer

The Circle” is coming back around again! The hit Netflix reality competition is set to return for its sixth season on Wednesday, April 17, and the streamer has released a trailer.

This season, the influencer catfish competition, which will for the first time be filmed in Atlanta, Georgia, will see all-new twists as 10 human players are joined by Max, an A.I. chatbot, to try to convince the players it is one of them.

The first four episodes of “The Circle” Season 6 will premiere on April 17, followed by two more batches on April 24 and May 1 before the finale episode on May 9.


AMC Releases “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon The Book of Carol” First Look

AMC has debuted a sneak peak for the upcoming season of its “Walking Dead” spinoff “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.”

Season 2, entitled “The Book of Carol,” will pick up where the first season left off, following Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) as Daryl struggles with his decision to stay in France and Carol confronts old demons on the quest to find her friend, causing tension at the Nest.

The sequel series also stars Clémence Poésy, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, Laika Blanc Francard, Anne Charrier, Romain Levi, and Eriq Ebouaney.

“The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon - The Book of Carol” will premiere on AMC and AMC+ this summer with the exact date to be announced later.


“Orphan Black: Echoes” Will Premiere in Early Summer

In celebration of the 11th anniversary of “Orphan Black,” AMC has announced the premiere date for its highly anticipated spinoff series “Orphan Black: Echoes,” starring Krysten Ritter.

Set to debut on Sunday, June 23 on AMC, AMC+, and BBC America, the sci-fi series will follow “a group of women as they weave their way into each other’s lives and embark on a thrilling journey, unraveling the mystery of their identity and uncovering a wrenching story of love and betrayal.”

In addition to Ritter, the series also stars Keeley Hawes, Amanda Fix, Avan Jogia, Rya Kihlstedt, and James Hiroyuki Liao.


Disney+ Releases New “Descendants” Installment Teaser

Disney+ is ready to rock with more of its “Descendants” franchise. The streamer has released a new teaser for “Descendants: The Rise of Red.”

The music-driven original film will follow Red, the rebellious daughter of the Queen of Hearts, and Chloe, the perfectionist daughter of Cinderella. When the tyrannical Queen incites a coup, the opposites must join up and travel back in time to undo the traumatic event that gave Red’s mother her villain origin story.

“Descendants: The Rise of Red” will premiere on Friday, July 12, exclusively on Disney+, followed by a special encore on Aug. 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Disney Channel.
