Netflix Releases Final Trailer Ahead of “3 Body Problem” Opening

Netflix’s highly anticipated “3 Body Problem” makes its world premiere at SXSW Film & TV Festival tonight, Friday, March 8, and the streamer has released the final trailer ahead of the debut.

Created by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss (“Game of Thrones”) and Alexander Woo (“The Terror,” the new series adapts Cixin Liu’s internationally bestselling trilogy that begins in 1960s China when a young woman’s fateful decision reverberates across space and time into the present day, and a close-knit group of scientists join forces with an unorthodox detective to confront the greatest threat in human history.

The sci-fi drama stars Benedict Wong, Jess Hong, Jovan Adepo, Eiza González, John Bradley, Alex Sharp, Rosalind Chao, Jonathan Pryce, Liam Cunningham, and more.

“3 Body Problem” premieres on Netflix on Thursday, March 21.


“Alex Edelman: Just For Us” Comes To HBO

Can you believe it? Following a two-month Broadway run, Alex Edelman’s solo comedy show “Just For Us” will come to HBO.

Filmed in front of a live audience at Broadway’s Hudson Theatre on Aug. 15 and 16, 2023, the solo special follows Edelman’s real-life attendance at a New York City white supremacist gathering in response to receiving online anti-Semitic threats and rhetoric.

Tony winner Alex Timbers serves as director for the HBO special. Adam Brace, who died suddenly in May 2023, made his posthumous Broadway debut as the stage director. The show is currently on a national tour, which will make a one-night return to N.Y.C. on March 14 and conclude in Los Angeles on March 31.

“Alex Edelman: Just For Us” will debut on HBO and Max in April with the exact date to be announced later.


“Fallout” Series Adaptation Gets First Trailer

The vault is now open. Prime Video has released its first official trailer for its long-awaited “Fallout” series adaptation.

Based on the best-selling global video game franchise by Bethesda, “Fall Out” is set 200 years after the apocalypse, when the denizens of luxury fallout shelters “are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind— and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.”

Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, and Walton Goggins lead the cast opposite Moisés Arias, Kyle MacLachlan, Sarita Choudhury, Dale Dickey, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O’Hagan, and Xelia Mendes-Jones.

“Fallout” will now exclusively premiere all episodes on Prime Video on Thursday, April 11, one day earlier than previously announced.


Hulu Debuts Bon Jovi Documentary Trailer

Let it rock: Hulu has debuted the trailer for its upcoming four-part, all-access docuseries “Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story.”

Directed by Emmy winner Gotham Chopra (“Tom vs Time”), the new band documentary joins the iconic rock band in February 2022 as they look back at over 40 years as one of the most recognizable bands in the world and follows them on their real-time journey to attempt to chart out of the future.

In addition to personal videos, unreleased early demos, original lyrics, and never-before-seen photos, “Thank You, Goodnight” will also feature interviews with band members Jon Bon Jovi, Tico Torres, Richie Sambora, Phil X, and David Bryan, as well as Bruce Springsteen, John Shanks, Obie O’Brien, Everett Bradley, Doc McGee, Dorothea Bongiovi, Matt Bongiovi, Paul Korsilius, and Dean Grillo.

“Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story” will premiere all episodes on Friday, April 26, exclusively on Hulu.


Trailer for Season 2 of “Loot” Out Now

New treasures have been unearthed at Apple TV+. The streamer has debuted the trailer for the second season of its critically acclaimed comedy “Loot,” starring Maya Rudolph.

The Emmy winner plays Molly Wells, a trophy wife who divorces her tech billionaire husband of 20 years and, after a small mid-life crisis and big financial bender, puts her energy into a charitable organization she previously founded. In Season 2, Molly is thriving as the head of the Wells Foundation and embarks on a wellness journey while her assistant Nicholas caters to her every whim.

The ensemble also includes Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Nat Faxon, Ron Funches, and Joel Kim Booster with Season 2 guest stars including Benjamin Bratt, Ana Gasteyer, and O-T Fagbenle, among others.

“Loot” Season 2 will debut with the first two episodes on Wednesday, April 3, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through May 29.


Prime Video Releases “Frida” Trailer

Prime Video has released the trailer for its upcoming documentary “Frida,” streaming globally on the platform on Thursday, March 14.
