“Blue Jean” | Thursday, Dec. 14

Georgia Oakley makes her acclaimed directorial debut with the British drama lead by Rosy McEwen as the title Jean, a closeted lesbian gym teacher living a double life as Section 28 looms over Britain. As pressure continues to mount, the arrival of a new student sets into motion a crisis that pushes Jean to the edge. Kerrie Hayes, Lucy Halliday, Lydia Page, Stacy Abalogun, Amy Booth-Steele, Aoife Kennan, Scott Turnbull, Farrah Cave, and others make up the ensemble.

“Such Brave Girls” | Friday, Dec. 15

The A24 sitcom makes its U.S. debut via Hulu nearly a month after its BBC Three premiere in the United Kingdom, bringing more dysfunction stateside. Described as a “family sitcom about trauma,” the stor follows single mother Deb and her two daughters, Josie and Billie, as they attempt to piece their lives back together after their narcissistic husband/father finally leaves them. Louise Brealey, Kat Sadler, and Lizzie Davidson star.

“Letterkenny” Season 12 | Tuesday, Dec. 26

The long-running Canadian sitcom “Letterkenny” bids adieu this Boxing Day, wrapping up 12 seasons “with a comedy night at Modean’s, a country music hit, the Degens’ bad influence, a new nightclub, an encore at the Ag Hall,” and more adventures in the rural Irish-Canadian community. The full six episodes will drop at once on the platform with star and creator Jared Keeso leading co-stars Nathan Dales, Michelle Mylett, K Trevor Wilson, Dylan Playfair, Andrew Herr, Tyler Johnston, Evan Stern, Mark Forward, and Tiio Horn to the finish line.

“It Lives Inside” | Friday, Dec. 29

From the producers of “Get Out,” the supernatural horror film follows Sam, a high school girl desperate to fit in at school and rejecting her Indian culture and family in the process until a mythological demonic spirit latches onto her former best friend and she must come to terms with her heritage in order to defeat it. Megan Suri leads the cast of the Neon horror opposite Neeru Bajwa, Mohana Krishnan, Betty Gabriel, Vik Sahay, Gage Marsh, and Jenaya Ross as the not-so-mythical Pishach.
