January is here and Hulu is rolling out the red carpet all month long! The streamer is heading into the new month (and the new year) with several specials, including the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, the 2023 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Special, and “The Golden Bachelor” wedding special, “The Golden Wedding.”

But Hulu will also debut several major new series and films, including its all-new murder mystery series “Death and Other Details” and the new Marvel series “Echo,” which will be available to watch on both Hulu and Disney+.

“The Golden Wedding” Special Premiere | Friday, Jan. 5

Wedding bells are ringing for Gerry and Theresa. After 2023 ended with an engagement from the first-ever Golden Bachelor and his new soon-to-be bride, ABC is committing to their future with the live wedding ceremony. Both ABC viewers and Hulu + Live TV subscribers can watch the pair exchange vows at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday night, or see the ceremony the next day, Friday, Jan. 5, on the streamer.

“Self Reliance” | Friday, Jan. 12

Jake Johnson stars in his feature directorial debut as Tommy, a disillusioned man in Los Angeles who received an invitation to win $1 million by playing a game where, for 30 days, he must outwit hunters attempting to kill him. When he realizes the hunters can only attack him when he’s alone, he attempts to convince friends, family, and total strangers that the game is real and that they must stay with him 24/7. The comedy also stars Anna Kendrick, Natalie Morales, Mary Holland, Emily Hampshire, Christopher Lloyd, and Wayne Brady.

“Death and Other Details” | Tuesday, Jan. 16

Mandy Patinkin and Violette Beane lead the cast of Hulu’s whodunit with Beane as Imogene Scott, who finds herself at the center of a murder mystery due to a mix of bad timing and her own actions while on a luxury ocean liner. To clear her name, Scott is forced to work alongside Rufus Cotesworth (Patinkin), the world’s foremost detective, whom she loathes. Linda Emond, Jayne Atkinson, Lauren Patten, David Marshall Grant, Rahul Kohli, and more make up the ensemble cast of the locked-room murder mystery.
