With its combined catalog of HBO originals as well as titles from Food Network, Cartoon Network, the CW, Discovery, HGTV, and more, Max is starting another month with an embarrassment of riches, be it Gilded Age fortunes or pirate booty.

The Warner Bros. streamer will pull from its multiple brands for dozens of new titles, classic movies, special-interest series, and more, from 1963’s classic horror film The Haunting to the all-new highly anticipated second season of the romantic dramedy “Our Flag Means Death.”

Our Flag Means Death” Season 2 | Thursday, Oct. 5

Season 2 of the hit Taikia Waititi and Rhys Darby-starred series is finally setting sail. Loosely following the story of Stede Bonnet (Darby), a wealthy man who decides he wants to become a pirate, “Our Flag Means Death” follows Stede and his trusty crew, who encounter Captain Blackbeard (Waititi), leading to a great connection between the two captains. The series also stars and features Ewen Bremmer, David Fane, Nat Faxon, and Con O’Neill. Claudia O’Doherty, Nathan Foad, Vico Ortiz, Joel Fry Matthew Maher, Kristian Nairn, Sama Schutte, Samson Kayo, Leslie Jones, and Minnie Driver. The first three episodes of Season 2 will debut on Oct. 5, followed by two episodes weekly leading up to the season finale on Oct. 26.

Last Stop Larrimah” | Sunday, Oct. 8

Directed by Thomas Tancred, the whodunit documentary “Last Stop Larrimah” takes place deep in the Australian Outback in the remote town of Larrimah, population: 11 eccentric Aussies. But when a local and his dog vanished in 2017, the remaining residents became suspects in an unfolding investigation, revealing the close-knit town’s history of infighting.

No Accident” | Tuesday, Oct. 10

The latest HBO Original documentary zeros in on the deadly 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, where peaceful counterprotesters were injured by white nationalist leaders and organizations, and chronicles the subsequent lawsuit, which exposed “a broad network of conspirators and [details] the challenges of holding those leaders and organizations liable for their actions.”

Doom Patrol” Season 4 | Thursday, Oct. 12

“Doom Patrol” is back for one more mission. The DC Comics series, which centers on the title team of the world’s strangest superheroes, will pick up the second half of its fourth and final season with two new episodes on Oct. 12, followed by one episode weekly until the series finale on Nov. 9. Season 4 stars Brendan Fraser, Matt Bomer, Diane Guerrero, April Bowlby, Joivan Wade, Michelle Gomez, Skye Roberts, Riley Shanahan, and Matthew Zuk.

The Gilded Age” Season 2 | Sunday, Oct. 29

HBO and Max’s illustrious period drama returns for a second season on Oct. 29 with all-new battles between old and new money.
